About Our Club
Our Inspiration for this Club:
The past several months have brought light to the horrible injustices and blatant disregard of human rights around the world. We have constantly been educating ourselves and finding ways to help, but we wanted to take this a step further. All of us have a goal of trying to make the world a safer and better place for everyone, and because of this, we want to do our part by connecting with those with the same goal. This club will not by any means resolve every issue in the world, but it's a step in the right direction.
More Information
Through the GNS Human Rights Club, we want to make GNS a safer and more inclusive place for all students.
We aim to provide students with an opportunity to educate themselves and to raise funds about ongoing human rights issues. Each quarter we plan on focusing on one human rights issue decided by the club members. Additionally, the club will host monthly zoom meetings to talk about human rights issues we see in our community.
